PRIVACY NOTICE FOR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

At Küçükler Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. we place great importance on the security and protection of your personal data. We process and safeguard all personal data belonging to individuals associated with our company in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698. As the “Data Controller” as defined in the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), we handle your personal data within the scope of the limits specified by legislation.

1- Collection, Processing and Processing Purposes of Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected through automated or non-automated methods, verbally, in writing or electronically, depending on our company’s products, services and commercial activities. This collection process may involve our internal departments, group companies and brands, as well as our website, social media channels and other means. As long as you continue to benefit from the products and services offered by our company and affiliated units, your personal data will continue to be collected, updated when necessary and processed as required.

When you contact our call centers or connect through our website to use the services of our company or affiliated companies, visit our company headquarters and all related units or participate in training, seminars and events organized by our company, your personal data may be collected and processed in compliance with the law.

Your personal data will be processed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes stated in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), for the following purposes:

• Carrying out necessary operations to provide you with the products and services offered by our company and affiliated companies.
• Personalizing the products and services offered by our company and affiliated companies based on your preferences, usage habits and needs and making recommendations accordingly.
• Ensuring the legal and commercial security of our company, affiliated companies and individuals in business relation with our company.
• Carrying out administrative operations related to communication conducted by our company.
• Ensuring the physical security and control of our company’s locations.
• Managing the evaluation/complaint management processes of our customers.
• Conducting legal compliance and audit processes.
• Determining the commercial and business strategies of our company.
• Implementing human resources policies of our company.

2- Transfer of Processed Personal Data and Its Purpose

Your personal data may be transferred by our company and affiliated companies, in line with the purposes of collecting and processing personal data, to the following parties and within the scope of the processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK):

• Our business partners and suppliers who are involved in providing the products and services offered by our company and affiliated companies.
• Other affiliated companies within our corporate group.
• Company officials and shareholders.
• Competent public institutions and authorities authorized by law.
• Authorized private individuals in accordance with the KVKK.

The transfer of your personal data to these parties will be carried out in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes as stated in the relevant articles of the KVKK.

3- Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through all kinds of written, verbal and electronic means, in line with the purposes stated above, for the purpose of providing our products and services within the designated legal framework and fulfilling our company’s contractual and legal obligations accurately and completely. The collection of your personal data based on this legal basis is processed and may be transferred within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), as mentioned in paragraphs (1) and (2) of this notice.

4- Rights of the Personal Data Subject as Stipulated in Article 11 of the KVKK

As personal data subjects, if you wish to exercise your rights, you may submit your requests to our company through the methods specified below. Depending on the nature of the request, our company will respond to your request free of charge within 30 days. If there are any fee-based processes determined by law or the Personal Data Protection Board regarding your request, you will be notified and our company will collect the relevant fee, if applicable.

If you are a personal data subject within this scope, you have the following rights:

a) To learn whether your personal data is being processed or not,

b) If your personal data has been processed, to request information regarding this processing,

c) To learn the purposes of processing your personal data and whether they are used for their intended purposes,

d) To be informed about the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, both domestically and internationally,

e) To request the correction of your personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete and to request that the third parties to whom the personal data is transferred be notified of the correction,

f) To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring processing no longer exist, even if it has been processed in compliance with the KVKK and other relevant laws and to request that the third parties to whom the personal data is transferred be notified of the deletion or destruction,

g) To object to the occurrence of a result against you which is solely based on the analysis of your processed data through automated systems,

h) To request compensation for damages if you suffer any damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

In accordance with Article 13, paragraph 1 of the KVKK, to exercise the rights mentioned above, you can submit your request in writing, along with necessary identification information and provide explanations regarding the rights you wish to exercise under Article 11 of the KVKK. You can do this by filling out the form available at https://www.comfytex.com.tr  and submitting a signed copy of the form along with identification documents in person or via mail. Alternatively, you can send your request through a notary or via email to kvkk@comfytex.com.tr  Please note that we reserve the right to request a fee, as per the tariff determined in accordance with Article 13, titled “Application to the Data Controller” of the KVKK, to cover the expenses incurred by our company while fulfilling your requests related to the exercise of your rights.
